Ridgehaugh Farms believes in breeding for longevity. Raising 100% Registered Boer Goats and High percentage commercial Boer goats from registered stock. The only way to get longevity is to work with great genetics and have a herd free from Johnes and CAE. Our herd is tested Yearly and is Negative in both. Longevity to us means having animals that are happy and healthy, which means our does are not replaced as often for breeding. We keep pedigrees on all of our animals whether or not they are registered, so there is no guessing on the genetics. Unfortunately not all animals are made for breeding stock so we do offer some as meat animals.
